  • Just FYI - it might interest everyone to know that, demographically speaking, Social Security is basically an income transfer program from the poor to the rich, not the reverse.

  • 2037?!  Try 2015 (when the money runs out).  Last year was the first year that Social Security paid out more in benefits than it took in from taxes. Meaning that they drew down the 'Social Security Trust Fund' instead of contributing excess revenues to the general budget.

  • Let's see - employs a staff of 600, probably took thousands to fabricate the materials and build it...why is this a bad thing from an economic perspective? Leave the guy alone. Isn't it ironic that the building has a distinctly phallic look. I guess 'his is bigger'.
